Influence of Self-Reflection, Achievement Motivation, and Social Support on the Self-leadership of Nursing Students

Abstract

|
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the influence of self-reflection, achievement motivation, and social support on the self-leadership of nursing students.
Methods: A descriptive study design was used. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires from 160 nursing students. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson¡¯s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS 26.0 program.
Results: Achievement motivation, self-reflection, and satisfaction on major significantly predicted nursing students¡¯ self-leadership, accounting for 57% of the variance.
Conclusion: Interventions to improve the self-leadership of nursing students should focus on enhancing achievement motivation, self-reflection, and satisfaction on major.
